GET OFF THE GRID AND ON THE TRAIL

TENTATIVE DATES FOR SUMMER 2026: AUGUST 8 to 12

Why? Before the school year started the last couple of years, I headed north to New Hampshire and went off-grid. Normal tech-produced inputs were removed and replaced with space for reflection and planning.  I returned home with clarity, purpose, and gratitude for the opportunities that awaited. This year, we are inviting others who wish to join us who want the same.

When? Monday, August 8 to Friday, August 12

Who is this for?  For those who will be in high school during the 2025-26 school year.

Each participant should be able to:

• do a full day of hiking, carrying their food and water.
• forgo their phones for the duration of the experience.
• complete assigned chores to maintain the shared space.
• willing to journal.
